Two green phones. Two of a kind?

Now if only we could go "green" without using the color green.

How exactly does a cell phone go “green” all across the board? By changing everything- from the packaging, to the charger, to the phone itself. Though there have been numerous attempts from other carriers to ride the marketable wave of ”green chic,” the Samsung Reclaim is by far the best product to hit the market.

Its competition, the Motorola Renew W233, has the leg up in materials (100 percent of its plastic body is made from recycled water bottles) but skimps on the features. At its core, it’s just a phone with good reception and extra battery life. The theory behind the Renew is that a longer lasting battery (nine hours of talk time or eighteen days of standby) means there will be less electricity used in charging. (more…)
