So long as the weather cooperates, Columbia students can get a bike tune up on campus next week. C4Cycling, a student organization on campus, will provide these tune ups in front of 623 S Wabash. Stop by on a Wednesday or Thursday (through May 12) between 2:30-4:30.
The group is providing these tune ups on a donation basis of $5-10. Check out the poster for more details.

It’s time for a new theme here at Eco Columbia, where the next two weeks will be all about transit!
As always, you can take any topic related to transit and run with it. Write a poem, record a song, make a short film, or send us a piece of art. We want to hear what you love about your bike, what you hate about your train stop, or what you’re doing to cut down on emissions during your commute. The sky is the limit so be creative!
One winner will get to choose between a 7-Day CTA pass or a $25 gift card to West Town Bikes. (more…)

As part of a semester long initiative to raise awareness about water waste and scarcity, the Columbia Recycling Program put out a call for work challenging students to design posters for the campaign.
